Interactive robotics is a company that provides a platform for schools and healthcare institutions where you can use their social robots to achieve a plethora of goals. Kids in schools can for instance use a 'simple' visual programming language to make them move and say things. This is of course uber cool but the amount of these, very expensive robots, are limited.

That is why they developed a virtual version so everybody can program a robot and play with it. The same programs can be used on the real bots. This is where we come in to apply that slick robot design and add a library of funky moves. From simple gestures to dancing a Macarena.

It neatly fits with our webGL experience where we create interactive animations. We created a skeleton that is compliant with the idiosyncrasies of web 3D. And where most characters are bendy this robot is of course hard surface. Not the standard and just looks better robot movement wise.

Our Rotterdam friends from agency Funkel whipped up style and strategy for the newly established theater group PUNCH. What makes them special is that they only use newly written scripts so they are all in on contemporary and fresh writers.

Expect the unexpected going to a play from PUNCH and that is what we wanted to do with this introduction animation. A total mash up of 2D and 3D to convey the energy of the troupe.

This did not go unnoticed at the national newspaper NCR who wrote a nice little piece about them (and us a little I guess haha)

Once again ad agency Epidemie ganged up with us. They asked us to make animated pack shots for four Valdispert gummie variations based on herbs and flowers. It is not immediately clear from the bottle which is which in the few seconds you get to see these pack shots.

So to emphasize the flavor we made flowers and herbs grow from the graphic elements to create sort of a laurel wreath. Besides that, fast growing nature just looks cool.
